Mobile apps may finally overtake x86

Other than the lower investments/costs than conventional software development, particularly for the Android platform, simple business models go with abundant on-line selling channels. So what else are luring more people jumping on the bandwagon? And would mobile computing eventually replace or merge with conventional computing, e.g. mobile apps replacing x86-based software with increasing mobile processing horsepower in future?

      I'm pretty sure there are still way more x86 programs and applications that there are mobile apps.

      Quantity? Possibly. Usefulness? Doubtful. Financially rewarding for most developers? When pigs fly with wings, and not on an airplane.
