Monitor websites visited

Is there a tool to monitor the websites users on my network are visiting?

In our firewall there is a web log of all the sites that are visited. but it doesn't show which user is visiting it. anyone have any suggestions?

Choices

It depends partly on what kind of hardware you currently have in place. Some firewalls have the ability to monitor in this fashion, but you have to pay for the license.

There are hardware and software solutions.

I went with a software solution simply because it was the easiest for me with the money I had to work with.

I took 2 months and did my homework before settling on SurfControl (http://www.surfcontrol.com/). Not only have I been pleased with the product, but the customer support has been outstanding.

(No, I am not affiliated with them in any way.)

Feel free to PM me if you would like some of the information I acquired in my search. I could also provide you with the contact information of the SC rep that I dealt with.

You can use a third party software for this kind of purposes. WorkTime (<a ahref="http://www.nestersoft.com/worktime/faq/monitoring_visited_websites.shtml">monitoring visited websites</a>), for example, it shows users and web-sites and times.

You need a remote control monitoring software, if you are on the same internet, the admin of the software can watch what everyone is doing.
