    MS Office

    Locked

    by dttdinh ·

In Windows 2000 environment,I have some applications to block users from accessing my network (ex: block Start, My Computer, My Network Places…), but when users are using Microsoft Word, for example, they browse through C, D drives, network computer even though my software set A drive only, but not working in MS Office. Is there any way to let users access A drive only in MS Office ? Thanks.

You cannot hide the servers/network drive letters in the office dialogs, but you can deny access via the Access Control Lists to the shares.
