MS Word Toolbars

By [White Raven] ·
Somebody messed up one of our computer and lost a "ToolBar" file, edit, view, etc. The icons for save, print, search is still there. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but same results. Also tried the "customize toolbars", do reset, and "reset my usage data" but to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to View>Toolbars Customize and make sure that Menu Bar is checked.
If it is checked, make sure that the bar is not docked in another location. At the side, or botom etc.
On the Tools>Options tab, you can clear the Standard and Formatting toolbars share one row check box.

With Word closed locate the normal.dot in the Office directory. Delete it. Reopen Word and see if your icons are back to normal. If not, you will probably have to reinstall Office.
