Need help in Excel

I am working on a workbook and I need to find a formula to multiply all the entrees in Column A by the entrees in Colum B. The results should display in Column C. I will really appreciate if someone can help. Thanks

If I understand you, do the following: In column C1 enter this formula: =A1*B1 then while pointing at column C1, hold down the shift key and the last column that you want the formula applied to for instance C10, then press and hold the Ctrl key and press the D key (Fill Down) this copies the formual to all the selected cells. Or do you want: =A1*SUM(B1:B7), or do you want: =SUM(A1:A7)*SUM(B1:B7). Hope this helps.

Another trick is:
After you enter =A1*B1 in cell C1, select C1 and look at the box surrounding that cell. In the lower right corner there is a little black square. It’s called a fill handle. You can drag that down the column, or just double click on it and the formul will fill down as long as there is some entry in column B.
