Need to find memory address of driver

By masemmes ·
I've been getting a blue screen with a stop 0x0000000a(0x007e0de0,0x00000001c,0x00000000,0x80c8be58). But thats all the info I get. The fourth parameter is the same every time this server blue screens (every couple of days). How can I tell what driver is using this space while the server is running? No dump file is being created at this time.

Querty that specific error code in the MS knowledgebase. More often than not, it will have a brief description of the error code and usual suspects.

There should be an executable in the resource kit alled pstat.exe. When run at a cmd prompt it will give you the start load address of all drivers.

If you have Dr Watson on this server you may find that it trapped an error in its log file. If so, the log will provide a lot of detail about the error, including the specific file causing it. Also included is the address, and the specific entry point that failed if the problem is in a DLL. This program is included in SBS 4.5, but I don't know if it ships with other configurations.

I know people hate going to html links but this is best in this situration. Trouble shooting blue screen. PLEASE JUST GO AND read although links really suck. The buffer size in this answer area is way to small. This link aslo holds pictures for you.
