Need to remove PointSec software from my computer

By iproccrusher ·
I have purchased a computer (IBM thinkpad) at my client's auction. It has PointSec on it.
The PointSec login screen comes up before anything else, but I do not have the sign on for it to uninstall. I have tried to boot off a Win XP CD and reinstall Windows, but it does not recognize the hard drive. (I know the HD is good.)
How can I get rid of the PointSec, there is nothing I need to retrieve off the drive.
Thanks in advance for your help!

If you cannot get into the system AND an XP install disc doesn't recognise the HD, how can you possibly say "(I know the HD is good)." ?

Try this link:

http://www.compendium.pl/training/3340/check-point-authorized-training-pointsec-certified-administrator-course

For $600 US you can be trained in the devious art of removal of PointSec using the following:

"Removal of Pointsec - This is a detailed explanation of the various un-installation methods. Methods covered are un-installation using dual authentication methods through add/remove programs; forcing un-installation with update Profiles, manual un-installation and un-installation by creating a bootable media using a machines specific recovery file."

You would think the HD would have been wiped before the system was auctioned off, wouldn't you?
