Any have any good resources for network documentation templates (i.e. Word templates, etc)

Visio is what you should be using. Here is a link. It has everything you could want. http://www.visio.com/visio2000/enterprise/

I agree with using Visio, it's the easiest and most flexible tool out there. Unfortunately, they are way behind in their "Network Equipment" updates. I am up to date (using 1999 templates) and cannot get an accurate representation for any new Compaq Proliants or IBM Netfinitys. The Netfinity isn't even there. And the Compaq models are from last year and they are too big (they've shrunk a few rack units).

Visio is good in other respects (usability, database export), and certainly works for older network equipment, but if you're trying to plan a new network - better get the vendor's guides (so you can be halfway accurate on your rack layouts). Hopefully, they will be kept up to date.
