Network internet connection

By bruway ·
I am fairly new to the networking world, but my problem is very important to me. I have set up a peer to peer office system of 4 computers. Everybody has equil rights to each machine. No matter what I do, I am not able to make it so that only one computer is on the internet and everybody else is allowed to tie in from their computers and share. We all have to wait until the line is free. I'm sure there is a simple answer, but I haven't found it yet. Thank-you for any help you can give.

If you are using Windows 98 SE(Second Edition) you could use the ICS(Internet Connection Sharing) features that it provides. You will need to setup the PC with the available line as the Host PC & all others as Client PC's. This look should help explain. http://www.microsoft.com/INSIDER/ARTICLES/ics.htm
