networking UNIX and Windows pc

By utken ·
Hi. We have a stand-alone UNIX box that we use for CAD. The LAN server is on NT4. Clients are mostly on Win2000 and Win98. Is there a way the UNIX box can join the windows LAN so that Windows users can access the drawings without physically be at the UNIX station?
Any help is appreciated.

You may want to look into Samba for Unix.

Check these links out:

Hope it helps,
Jim

Samba is the way to go if you do not have security concerns on your internal lan.

For setting up Samba on a Linux box and configuring windows clients -
