New Years Resolutions

By Oz_Media ·
I haven't really thought about a New Years resolution yet but I just may come up with one before the big day.

I usually don't have a resolution, not to sound snotty, but I think if you try and notice your faults and learn as you live, you should have no need for a resolution because things are addressed as they occur, pllllllllp :-P
(I'll say anything to get out of jogging or quitting smoking)

I would be amused to see what other people have planned, especially to see how it goes throughout the year. We could offer moral support while you quit smoking, lose weight or find that new career!

Do you planning on doing something to make yourself a better person, become healthier, smarter, get a raise?

by Oz_Media In reply to New Years Resolutions

I think I've got it!

I will pay closer attention to spelling mistakes in my posts. That would not only make ME better but would also make my pposts easier for others to read! As of 2004, I'll start correcting mistakes like the double p in the last sentence.

Until then tho it'a spiel misatke awsy!!!!WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I resolve ...

to remain the perfect example of a human being. It makes life so much less complicated because you don't have to worry about what is the best of several choices, or worry that you may have done the wrong thing.

As a perfect person, I automatically make the best decisions, and never make an action which I might later regret.

All I need now is to find the perfect female partner, as the relevant part of my anatomy is not at all keen on this perfection stuff.

By robbing banks after all it is faster and far less time consuming.

1 days work a month will get you all that you want but the question is do you really want it that badly?

LOL...good one Guru

by TomSal In reply to Resolution

For some strange reason I found that funnier than I probably should...but I really need a laugh today...very bad day AND its Monday.

As for resolutions, despite the fact I'm 11 days late with this post, I don't really believe in them. Just like what someone else said...you live, you learn -- you "fix" your mistakes as you go. Not to mention I strongly believe something you could call the "Power of Want"...how much do you REALLY want something? If someones only motivation to lose weight, stop smoking become a better person, etc. is only because they said that's there resolution...that's pretty weak and they will likely fail.

No one makes us do anything, if you really think about it...not even ourselves -- unless we WANT to do it.

ok here's the soapbox again.

(oh and I'm back in the gym starting this new year...been 3 months since I stopped..lol)
