NT 2000 Professional rebooting after RM

By lentek! ·
I have a user with Win2k Professional just installed on his laptop -- Dell. Any time he attempts to write to either removable media -- be it Floppy or Zip 100/250 -- the machine immediately reboots. I've never seen it and don't know where to start. What's the fix? I'm happy to be contacted at jmf4f0@hotmail.com if you need any other information.

I wonder which driver did you use for ZIP. Delete both drivers, Floppy and ZIP.
Reboot and W2K re-installs it automaticaly.
Also, download the iomega latest driver for ZIP 100/250 and if W2K re-installed you old ZIP driver, do a driver update.Good Luck!

The user hasn't gotten back to me
regarding this issue, but since you
were a good sport, I've given you the
points. Thanks, John
