NT network Boot disk

By Kevin Anderson ·
How do I create a boot disk allowing me to boot from a floppy, connect to an NT machine (or 9x) and copy down a ghost image from that remote machine?

Basically a Floppy that will boot onto a peer to peer 9x/NT network?

Thanks.

1. From NT Server, open the Network Client Administrator tool located under Start\Programs\Administrative Tools (Common)

2. Select "Make Network Installation Startup disk" to make a boot floppy.

Depending on the NIC installed in the client workstation, you may need to modify the .ini files to support your particular NIC. You may also need to copy the NIC DOS to the floppy. Symantec maintains a knowledge base on GHOST that can help if you run into problems.

Feel free to e-mail me ifyou run into problems.
