NT security when open to the Internet

By Vuitanh ·
I have no Firewall for my NT systems, and they are fully open with my DSL connection. What are my risk? What can hacker do to my systems? How do I prevent it without putting a firewall up. I'm running default WWW and FTP. Are there other services that is not needed? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
