Open request to membership - invites to social sites

By CharlieSpencer ·
Hey gang, if you send another member an invitation to a social site, please include your TR alias in the invitation. Some of your TR profiles don't include your full name. If you don't include your TR alias in the invitation, it might be deleted or ignored when the invitee can't figure out how he knows you.

Now, who with Primus in Canada sent me a LinkedIn invitation on Friday?

I guess you are getting old

The same guy who used to use his real name as his TR handle.

Does that ring any bells?

Hint his first name and last initial are in his TR handle.

That's what I suspected,

but I couldn't remember stuff before I got my AARP card.

True story: Decades ago I told my wife I was going out for ice cream. She asked me to pick up three other items and suggested I write them down. I replied I didn't need to write down three lousy items. When I returned with them, I mocked her for thinking I would forget them. She asked, "Where's your ice cream?"

You didn't have that problem with me

I'm thinking that it might be time to admit to leaping senility. I knew exactly who you were referring to when I read your post.

Maybe we should have gotten that hard hat to you sooner.

(((hugs)))

Don't you have a snow drift to go play in?

How about a little game I like to call "How close can you stand to the plow?"

No snow... yet.

Me, personally? I wouldn't be unhappy at all if we managed to get all the way through winter and never see a flake. Do I think that will happen? Not even close. But I can dream, can't I???

Having that problem myself

by NickNielsen In reply to Open request to membershi ...

Now that I'm actually on Facebook. I know some names and am able to figure others out, but there are a few out there I'm not sure about.

For any of the regulars on FB, if I haven't sent a friend request, it's 'cause I don't know you there. ?:| If you're interested, PM me or send me a friend request.

Can't blame me on that one

by JamesRL In reply to Having that problem mysel ...

I have studiously avoided that one. I opened an account to see some pictures a cousin posted of my parents' anniversary. But I have not even browsed the rest of the site.

I don't twitter. I do share photos, as some of you know. And I'm on Linked in.
