out of system memory

This could mean a couple of things...first if your pagging file tries to expand and your out of disk space this will give you an error.

Check to make sure that your page files is 1.5 times the amount of RAM installed in the system....

Since you did not mention the programs that are running then you might have one that is taking up to much memory....

Hope this helps

this means that the space set aside for paging is full. by default the max is set at 1.5 times your RAM. to increase the size of the page file right click on My Computer icon, click on the Advanced tab and click the Performance Options button. Click on the Change button. The Virtual Memory dialog box will pop up. Select the C: drive or what ever your system drive is named. Enter the number of MB in the Maximun Size textbox and click the Set button. click ok. click ok on the rest of the dialog boxes. reboot your machine.
if your hard drive is partitioned you can change the the location of the page file to the other partition. to find out how to do this, go to www.windows2000faq.com and enter "move pagefile" in the search box and follow the directions.
