Outlook 97

By mpetrone ·
Everything works fine till yesterday.
A customer have a Windows 95 PC with Office 97 SR2b.

The problem is when she want to send an email with a file attachment (any file, size or filename). When you click "send" Outlook stop responding.

I've checked and it works fine if she don't send attachments.

Any help?.

Thanks,
Mauricio.

Try to reinstall office and its service packs on top of the old install. Probably a file is corrupt. You may have to do the same with windows 95, too.

Either the SMTP server has changed it's maximum file size limit, or the email attachment exceeds the maximum file size limit.

As a last result, consider reinstalling Office 97 over your previous install (be sure to do backups first).
