    Outlook Task Problem

    Locked

    by dbaus ·

When using Outlook 2000 ver. 9.0.0.2711
on NT4 SP4 on my PC, I can no longer add tasks to my outlook folder. Has anyone encountered problems like this?
Looking for possible solution/fix. When attempting to save task I get an error “Can not complete operation. One or more parameter values are not defined”

      Same Problem with Outlook Tasks

I need the same solution. Running Outlook 2002 on Win XP and task feature used to work fine. Then it started giving strange error messages such as ‘please save task order by…’ but still saved the tasks when I asked. Now, it won’t save tasks at all and says the thing about ‘could not complete operation, parameter values invalid…blah blah’. Thanks for any advice.

      Number of tasks?

Do you have a large number of tasks in the folder? I found there have been times when someone in the office has a TON of tasks listed, it starts to freak out. Do you have outdated/completed tasks which can be deleted?

She does not have a large number of tasks listed, just maybe a dozen or so. Any time she tries to save a new task, she cannot.
