OUTLOOK'97 - DEFAULT ATTACHMENT PATH

By Mozster ·
In Microsoft Outlook'97 is there any way to choose a default drive/directory path so when you choose the Attachment command Outlook automatically jumps to that directory to select files from?

Can do it in Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Access so why not Outlook?!!

Here's a link to the Microsoft Knowledgebase article that describes the process (though the site seems to be down at the moment):

(Sometimes when I cut and paste URL's it looks ok to me but once the answer is posted, an extraneous space will have crept in. Make sure you delete any extraneous spaces or the page won't load).

It's a simple registry edit which is described here. There are also tools that will do it for you, including TweakUi. There are links to download them.

(Remember the deal with the spacea).
