page cannot be displayed in wireless

how to resolve the page cannot be displayed issue in windows xp sp1/sp2 wireless issue
status is signal strenght fine excellent status shows connected but page cannot be displayed error.pings thru the default gateway still no go

If I read question correctly, you can ping an outside IP address but cannot display a web page. Try pinging by URL (e.g. yahoo.com) and see if you can successfully ping a site.

IF pinging by IP address works, but pinging by URL does not, you have a DNS error.

For a networked PC, try other PCs on network. If they cannot connect, it is likely a network DNS problem. If they connect but you cannot, it is a local PC problem. In that case try running winsockfix.exe available at link below.

Try running winsockfix.exe. Windows socket problem will prevent ping.

i have tried to ping the websites it does not ping
error as host not found what can be done next

Check to see if wep is enabled on the wireless router and not on your wireless card settings.

try this: got to isp website and find out the ip numbers of isp's dns servers. try entering either in gateway router or test on wkstn network properties. if this is not clear, this is a good one to call your isp tech support for help on.
