Password Expiration Prompt

Is there a way of editing the password expiration prompt under windows 2000 server. eg. 'your password will expire in n days Do you want.......'

Not that I'm aware of. I believe is hard coded into windows.

Technically, yes, you can edit the text, but it involves making your own PASSFILT.DLL file, compiling it, and putting it into the Registry. It is something for a programmer with the Windows SDK to look at.
I looked into this once, and was completely discouraged when I found out how difficult a change it would be!
The text is not a simple Registry edit.

assuming you just want to change 'n' just change the number in the user settings for how long you want to password to expire.
