PC keeps rebooting

By hdrysdale ·
While logged onto an Internet dial up connection with IE6 on a Win 2000 machine the PC will pop up a system shutting down window with a countdown of 1 minute to shutdown. The file path is pointing to lsass.exe in Winnt\System32 and the error is saying it is administered by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
Then the PC will automatically reboot itself. Any ideas?

Sasser will do the same, although your machine may not be infected you need to download the patches from Microsoft.
