PCMCIA card not recognized

By f-1742104 ·
a wireless PC card (USR5410) is not recognized when inseretd in a Toshiba 740CDT (BIOS 6.70). I tried with 2 different ones! Configuration panel pretends "socket empty". Other PCMCIA cards are recognized without any problem.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

You need to install the drivers and utilities first. After that with the power on insert the card. Write down the serial number cause it won't install.
