On a Windows 2000-based computer, when you map a drive to a network share the mapped drive may be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity. To correct this problem see KB297684.

Hope this solves your problem?

I read this kb but it seems that this applies if a red x is present or that it disconnects there appears to be no disconnect just a failure to update the files that have been saved to the folders that are shared this sync is not occuring for some reason and it is not corrected bye browsing the shared folder which does when done does not show the updated files or even new files its as if i were useing offline browsing which i have turned off bye the way
