You gave ‘god privileges’ to Nick? Man, the lifespan of my posts is going to be measured in seconds.

I wonder if Darryl and PS will cancel each other out? “But Darryl~, Purple said it was okay!”

HAL and GSG? What, was Max busy this week? Was BALTHOR not available?

Canadians? An Australian? Seriously? Do they even speak English?

Congrats, y’all! The good news is every one is already on my Contacts / Follow list; I don’t have to suck up to anyone new. Have you got a pool going on who gets to deliver my first b!tch slap?

The Australian is awake at UnGodly hours, on account of the Sun being all wonky out there…
The Canadians, on the other hand, are known to be less lethargic during the summer, on account of the Sun failing to provide any warmth up there.

They’d have picked an Alaskan, but they were afraid the account would be commandeered by Not-the-Michael to implement PIPA/SOPA policies on a vigilante level.

In reply to I noticed an ignoring link in my contacts

Once that feature is totally functional – you will be able to ignore users (except for staff, editors, writers and moderators). The tab you see in your contacts, is where you will be able to see a list of all you are ignoring (you won’t be able to see who is ignoring you though)

I am excited to have this new feature as it is one I have been trying to gain for a long time.

It’s not functional yet – but once it is, I’ll post a discussion with all the how-tos and what-nots (like; no, you can not ignore any of my comments bahmuah ;-D )

Does that mean you will be a part of that program?

My youngest (who is now a senior) competes in them things. He didn’t last year, but he did his freshman and sophmore year up in Columbia (his school took first his freshman yr, and second his sophmore yr)

When we moved he started going to a new school and they didn’t have a program, he got it started and now they are going to compete this year. I know he said they were competing local and in Columbia again (I wonder if that one you mention is the local one – I’ll have to ask him). I know he is looking forward to competing against old classmates.

So it could be the same one. If it is FIRST, the annual registration fee for a FIRST Robotics team is $5,000, but that is paid up front. Once that fee is paid, the only other expenses would be for travel and lodging for any competitions.

The idea is to foster safe behavior and preparation. We’re looking for the signs of safety awareness: safety documents, CPR & first aid training, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, clean workbenches, etc. We’re also watching for safe behavior: hands clear of moving parts, proper use of hand and power tools, not working on live circuits, and so on.

The compliance part (hammering on connectors) is the robot inspection; that’s a different crew.

If the algorithm can be tweaked to put less weight on the sheer number of posts by a new member, it could be a nice piece of eye candy. Otherwise, I think it reflects poorly on the site to honor a list of spammers.

At the worst before the owner upgraded the site to the new version of phpBB we were deleting hundreds of posts manually each day. It is much better now, but a few still get by every now and then. We sell handmade chocolates from Sweet Shop USA, both boxed, ready

we have your typical M&Ms and Hershey Kisses for Valentines. Keeps
my small crew busy putting together packages usually consist of balloons,
canned soda and candy choices, wrapped in cellophane bag, tied with a
ribbon. Come Monday, we’ll begin inflating the balloons, getting ready to
make deliveries on Tuesday, or customer pickup as the case may be.
I stay out of the way for the most part, hehe! However, it keeps me busy
in the pharmacy area doing my thing!
Who knows, maybe we’ll consider doing the gift thing “online” someday,
but without a handy UPS or FedEx dropoff close, that might be a bit unwieldy.
The US Post Office is an option, and might be better…seems lately UPS and

But Boxy hasn’t been seen much lately and that’s because I’m deleting all of her posts that I see. :^0

It’s so much more fun that blowing her out an Air Lock. It confuses her more. [/Maniacal Laughter]

I can depend on you both to be the exception to the rule.

Hal, if you’re already corrupted, I’m going to have to have a talk with SWMBO. Maybe a change in diet will help.

Edited: I have a real problem with a sentence. Can’t get it right. Its been a long day.

But But But it was SWMBO

In reply to I know you guys are pillars of the community and . . .

Who Completely Absolutely Corrupted me.

After all there is no may a Mere Male could be corrupted without a female to drive him there. 😉

Also it’s SWMBO who gives me what I eat I’m not allowed in the kitchen for anything other than getting a drink from the fridge and even then it’s SWMBO who fills the fridge. I’m not allowed to do anything like Shopping, Cooking or for that matter to buy any food at all.

It could be because I’m horsely ”Addicted” to Chocolate and will buy that instead of anything else and prefer to eat Chocolate rather than anything else. Or if I go Shopping with SWMBO I would throw stuff into the trolley that she takes a dim view of.

So to that end I’m Banned from Shopping for Food, and most other things where there is any possibility of Chocolate being involved. I’m also Banned from America as SWMBO will not let me near that country again after the last time I went there and returned with lots of Mercedes parts for her cars, and a few Ducati Parts for my little used Play Toy. 😀

England and Europe are also countries that I’m banned from and for that matter Sydney unless SWMBO is with me to stop me buying her anything.

Many years ago I made the mistake of buying her some flowers for no other reason that I wanted to and after 30 years I still get grief for that lapse of judgment. It certainly taught me NEVER to do something on the spur of the moment as her first reaction was What Have You Done Wrong This Time! :_|

one minute it is 33 degrees Celsius (92 Fahrenheit), and then the next we have strong wind warnings and torrential rain.

keeps me entertained though
