PowerPoint object insert (Excel)

By bradsq&a ·
I am trying to insert an Excel spreadsheet that is rather wide. When I insert the object into PowerPoint a number of columns on the right are missing/out of the insert area. Though I may resize the object and even open the spreadsheet within PowerPoint, I am unable to adjust to have my desired content on screen.
My spreadsheet is wide enough that I use fit to page (page setup) to print on one landscape page. With this setting my object is scaled to about 70%

I hit the enter key.
I wonder if there is a way to adjust the object insert parameters or format the spreadsheet to meet certain criteria (size), to optimize the insert. I gather that I could use another third party app to capture the spreadsheet as an image... and then insert, but I would rather minimize that effort. I need to train users (mgmt types) on this procedure.
Thanks!

Rather than Insert Object, use Copy and Paste or Paste Special.
Format Object will let you set the scale.

I had tried that, but there were still problems attempting to size the complete spreadsheet. User modified format to accomplish goal.
