Print problems in a single application

    Locked

    by rob ·

I am running numerous programs including MS Office over a simple network, and all print succesfully to shared printers (HP 930C) in a classroom situation. One Educational windows based program will not print. I have tried: 1. Changing data format ie. EMF to RAW 2. Spooling directly to the printer 3. using HP universal driver 4. Selective startup to eliminate conflicting programes. I also get spool 32 errors or invalid data messages when printing. I Have the same program running in anothe classroom printing perfectly allbeit to different printers (HP 890c)can anybody help.

RE INSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVERS AFTER UNINSTALLING THE EXSISTING ONE AND WHEN INSTALLING PUT A CHECK ON PRINT WITH DOS BASED PROGRAMS AND WHEN YOU SHARE THE PRINTER MAP A PRINTER PORT ON ALL THE CLIENTS CONNECTING TO THIS PRINTER AND MAKE SURE YOU PRINTER IS POINTING TO THE MAPPED PORT THAT IS ON ALL THE CLIENTS.

I am having the same problem-same exact printer, same scenario. Prints fine from Office and other programs, but the e-mail program won’t print. Tried reinstalling the printer, the e-mail program, scandisk, checked/changed settings. No luck with any of it so I just wondered if you had found a solution.

      thanks 🙂

I had the same printing problem. To solve the problem I had to repair Internet Explorer. Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Add Remove Software/Microsoft Internet Explore XX/Add Remove Box/then Add A Component/Repair Internet Explorer/Restore. When I repaired everything worked, including my Media Player. Hope this helps.
