Capture Network Printer on a different port eg LPT2 inorder to keep Capture active on both ports . USE the print command with " / Printer Port " switch to redirect jobs to Printer Port of your choice .

Good Luck !!!

I am assuming that the DOS program must print to LPT1.

Create a batch file to run the DOS program that will have these commands.

REM Beginning of Batch file
net use lpt1 \\servername\printersharename
"command to run dos program here"
net use lpt1 /delete
REM End of batch file

This will capture the DOS progam when you run it and the DOS program will print to the network printer. When you exit the DOS program the capture is removed.

There is one problem with this!!!!!
As longs as your DOS program is running, Windows will send all print jobs that go to lpt1 to the network printer.

This solution will work if you just go into the DOS progam and print, then Exit before you use any other program on the computer to print.
