problems with IE 5.5

By rob.grant ·
Has anyone else found problems viewing .PDFs , .DXF's etc (technical drawings) in Internet explorer 5.5? They seem to appear as a fraction of their normal size. This problem is bypassed by using IE 5.0. Any clues?

I have not run into this situation? But have you gone to www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com and click on product updates. A long with the SR-1 update for IE there may be updates for your OS that you have not installed. I have quite a few computers, andall the operating systems running, with out this problem? Good Luck.

I had a similar problem and the cause were some ocx replaced by another program and not updated by IE5.5. If you install IE5.5 and then run Install /repair you will probably have an error saying that the instalation cannot be repaired and that you have to reinstall IE5.5. In Details you'll have the list of the ocx or dll causing the problem.
Good luck

I'm glad someone else has found this problem - I'm surprised that more haven't come across it. The repair runs succesfully - but I still get the problem. Thanks anyway
