Program lists too long

By warrenL ·
Is there some way to prevent the scrolling of my long program lists, and instead spread them out on my screen so that I can see them all at one time?

You don't mention your operating system, so here are some different sites.
Another thing to try (with 2000 and I think ME) is to go to Start>Settings >Taskbar and Start Menu and remove the Use Personalized menus check

Another thing that you can do, is go into settings / start menu progams / advanced
and create folders for different types of programs. Then move the programs into their folders.

This makes the start munu much more compact, and you are looking through a list of related items, instead of all of your programs at once.

Thanks for the quick response. With all the sources you provided I was able to get the job done. What a great change.
