Programming Language for a Network Engineer Working with Cisco Gear?

By christopherdeleo ·
I'm moving into a Network Engineer position working with Cisco gear. I've been thinking of learning a programming language to expand my skills set not to move into coding. I'd like some recommendations on which language, if any, would be good for me to learn. Are there any that might apply to the position into which I'm moving.

Thank you.
