Real-Time File Protection

By bytemi ·
I have a Windows 2003 server (OK one of 9) and all of the client stations are currently running Windows XP or Windows 2000. If Real-Time File Protection is turn on on any of the client machines they are not able to map a network drive to the Windows 2003 Server. They can ping the server by IP and by host name, just no mapping. Has anyone seen this before?

Are you referring to the Real-Time protection feature of Symantec Antivirus? If so, what version of SAV are you using?

Or are you referring to the Data Execution Prevention feature of Windows XP?

I am referring to neither actually, I mean to say off line file protection, sorry.

I accidently put Real-Time File Protection when I should have said off line file protection, I am sorry for the confusion.
