Recommendations for Help Desk Software?

By bens ·
I'm looking for a free/cheap help desk software to monitor and track troubles submitted to our 2 man IT Dept. I've tested Spiceworks, but really could not stand the amount of ads there...

Any recommendations? MS/Linux either is fine.

Simplest Solution EVAH.

Super easy:

Get Xampp from Apache friends if you're running a Windows box.

Then get OSTicket. Easiest little ticket management software I've ever used, completely PHP / MySQL, and simple to customize.

And everything listed here is Open Source. Freeeeeee.
