recovering a deleted file?

By vrayevans ·
Can I still recover a deleted file on my PC? In DOS, the first character of the file name was changed, is that still the same when using long names?

Yes, you can get back your data but for the recovery of your data and files all you need a windows platform and an efficient data recovery software, i used Kernel for FAT and NTFS file recovery software, which recover my data and files after a accidental format of my hard disk. i used it from http://www.fileundelete.org

As long as you have not save new data to which you put the deleted files, you could download some data recovery programs to help you, such as Recuva and iCare Data Recovery Free, they are both free and effective for you to help you. You could have a check in this link :
free-recovery.net.
this link can provide you detailed information of them.
