regedit command ca'nt run

Hi..

I have laptop and i all ready install Windows-Xp Proffesional.But i can't open registery file when i type regedit iam getting message registery was disable by administrator iam allready login with administrator.

pls help me.

regedit command cannot run

go to your services and scroll to "secondary log on" .double click on it.a box will appear with 3 choices -disable-automatic-enable.if disable is selected,thats your problem.simply click on enable .you may have to reboot for it to take effect.TO get into services r/click on my computer then click manage .in the new window (l/handpane)click on services and applications then click services and your there. scroll to"secondary log" on etc.Goodluck emerald
