The DS identification folder is corrupt. To fix run DSrepair to fix and NDS issues. Then do the following;
wks1= workstation running nwadmn32.exe
wks2= workstation that will be Remote Controlled

To make sure that the workstation trying to be Remote Controlled is registered and imported correctly, do the following:

1- From wks1, delete the NDS Workstation Object you want to Remote Control.

2- From wks1 and wks2, run SYS:PUBLIC\UNREG32.EXE and reboot.

99% of the time that we see this problem, the workstation that is being remote-controlled has not been imported correctly. After we delete the workstation object, re-register the workstation and re-import, we can usually remote control it. If thatdoesn't work, then we re-image the workstation (we use ghost and push down a clean OS image to the workstation).
