Try searching at www.Google.com on Desktop Monitoring Applications. It generated a number of hits that should fit what you are looking for.

Hi,

if you have a Novell server 4 or 5, use the ultimate solution, ZENWorks, you can take over the workstation via remote control and the user can work on without any problem, you can disable the warning sound and message.

Good luck,

Eduard

A couple of other products to consider would be SMS from Microsoft, you can configure the client to not be warned when you are viewing them. And Clicknet professional which also has a remote control feature although I am not completely sure you can configure it for stealth viewing. And there is also a product from Computer Associates that you should check out. None of these solutions are cheap or easy, however, and if you are trying to control users this way, you may run into some privacy issues. One of the things we did at our facility is remove games from all desktops and the server because they were being abused. It's a bummer now though if you feel like playing Freecell on your lunchbreak!

There is a program called Funk Proxy. The client end has a very small footprint. It can be configured to do almost everything you are lookin for AND it costs only about $15 per seat. Enterprise lic. are available as well.
