Remove Outlook Live Connector Win XP

By jolliffee ·
I have installed Outlook Live which has Outlook Connector for Hotmail. I need to remove this from my laptop to change some settings (the default account) but when I uninstall and re-install it has remembered all the old settings.

I want to avoid re-installing XP. Does any one have any ideas what/where it stores the info for the mail accounts. NB it does not use PST files but I deleted all the account info I could find so it is kept some where very hidden...

PS. MS Support does not seem to exist for this

Hi

This relates to Domino, but may help you track the settings down:

Outlook connector

you must delete all pst files. Outlook use them as personal folders. every pst file can be grown to 2GB at size. for deleting pst (or i recommend to replace files because of using in future) uninstall OC then go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\ and replace outlook folder to any other places. if you want to delete outlook connector only go to res://C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\1033\ and delete or move outlwvw.dll/outlook.htm. after all you have to delet hiv from registry. take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/832925 and http://support.software602.com/kb/view.aspx?articleID=1077
hope to help
