Between 30 to 90 days.

That really depends on the job you send him/her out for, and also on the circumstances like geographic location, time of the year, market situation.
There's not one valid answer for this question.

It certainly varies with the actual position, the time of year, and the overall availability of folks in that particular venue. I'd say however that you should hear something within 30 days, and will have seen all you can expect within 45-60 days.Muchlonger than that, and your listing just didn't generate enough interest.

The answer is based on a number of factors (e.g., time of year, location, specific job requirements). However, there are key expectations that should be met:
* Candidates *are* being found.
* Candidates are being well screened before they are presented to the client.
* Each time the recruiter discusses individual candidates with the client, the recruiter is 'fine tuning' the search, based on the client's feedback.

I don't think there is any defined timeframe that management will recognise your efforts. Management recognises the efforts of a good recruiter by the number of quality candidates you present for available positions.
