Resource Planning | Scheduling Software

Hey,

I am a project manager in a company having a staff of 40-50 people. They work on different projects at multiple locations. Sometimes it becomes difficult to manage them. Can someone recommend a solution for the problem so that it becomes easy for me and my company to track resources.

I would recommend btnet for this, it have many functions through which you will track your resources and schedule all the things. Notification is one of the best thing in this.

    Hey Nancy,
I had faced a similar kind of problem earlier. Scheduling resources across different offices can be a painstaking job. I consulted a software expert and he suggested me to use an automated scheduling program called eResource Scheduler. I went for the trial and the trial was successful. I found that the software was very efficiently taking up all our scheduling tasks. The thing which i liked the most about this software is the detailed reporting features that gives a bird's eye view to the manager in every aspect to resource scheduling, be it financials or forecasting. Take a look at the software, i am sure that it would help you with resource scheduling. For more details visit thier website

    A. Have you tried Saviom resource planning software ( www.saviom.com )? It has a very visual scheduling chart that allows you to see all your resources according to location, department, skill etc. It also has tracking capabilities that helps managing utilisation of your resources.

This solution allows you to plan resources across projects while also taking account their locations. There is also an automatic scheduling engine that solves all resource conflits (over-usage,...). You can find it at http://www.onepmo.com - let me know if you have any question
