Locked

Restrictions

By cheryl ·
I was wondering if anyone knows how to restrict students from saving files to Drive c: We are running Novell 5.0 with client 3.31. Zenworks policies are in place to lock down and hide the desktop and drive c: but that doesn't restrict them from saving to c:. I have looked in Win98 registry options and have found nothing.

For my knowledge, I guess FAT32 cannot do the restriction, only NTFS can, so get more information for this.

In order to get children not to save files to drive C:, simply tell them not to do it and offer a consequence. These consequences could include a serious ***-whoopin, expulsion, detention, or time out. It's a little harder to get adults to comply.
