"Return to Desktop" button

By learneverything ·
I recently switched jobs, therefore computers and operating systems. I remember on my old Windows 95 system, there was a button on the quicklaunch toolbar which minimized everything that was open in one click. I haven't found the same thing in my current Windows NT. I would imagine it can be downloaded from somewhere on Microsoft's sight. Probably I can't find it because I don't remember what the little booger is called. Any ideas where to look? I miss it. THANKS

What you are looking for is "Show Desktop.scf". It is a Windows Explorer Command. It should be on your computer as long as you have SP5 or greater installed. Just do a search for *.scf .

You can also right click the taskbar and choose minimize all Windows.

This is true. But I prefer the button. I did get it after I knew what to search for. Thanks for your help.
