    Router for CCNA Certification

    Locked

    by isaac holt ·

I recently started studying for the CCNA 2.0 certification. I am thinking about buying a router for lab work and hands-on training. What would be a good model to purchase? Any ideas?

http://www.networkliqudators.com has used/refurbish equipment for sale. One interesting thing they have is a CCNA package which gets you 2 used 2500 routers and cables to connect them for around $900.

        That’s pretty good!!!

Or you could buy study materials and Router Sim software from routersim.com for about $100… The routers would be nice to have though, esp if you could sell them back for a few hundred.

I have RouterSim and it was an integral part of my passing the CCNA- which does actually have a router simulation for several questions. Good Luck!!

I am afraid of ur message.no need to buy a router for hands on practice.Better go for the simulator Boston this was good for practice for ccna.this simulator software will work as a router & u can learn how to design a lan.So better go for this and it is cost effective. Its user friendly.u can get the router, switches, everything what u need to practice for ur ccna exam.so if u have idea means go and check the trial version of this software and then buy it.u can download it for t net.check out with google search engine u will get a good result.
