RPC Services

I have problem with RPC service on my Windows NT 4.0 SP6a, does any know how to reconfigure RPC service. Here is event from my Event log:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Wins
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4156
Date: 22.3.2000
Time: 12:46:45
User: N/A
Computer: JAZZ
Description:
WINS could not initialize the administrator interface because of some problem with the RPC service. You may not be able to administer WINS. Make sure that the RPC service is running.
Data:
0000: 63 04 00 00 01 00 00 e0 c......?

Any advice?

If you have a firewall in place take a look at Q154596 Configuring RPC dynamic port allocation to work with firewall. This resolved my Event ID 4156

Run Windows NT Diagnostics
Click Start
Click Programs
Click Administrative Tools
Double-click Windows NT Diagnostics
Click on the services tab
You may be able to fix without going through another process.
