Run Norton NAVDX from DOS command

By Casemaker ·
I have a pc that is infected with the pwsteal.trojan virus. I have stopped all items from running with msconfig. updated norton and scanned. It finds 66 files in the c:\documents and settings\administrator\local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\opcpurod\ia_xp(9).cab The last directory and file changes but not the other info. It will not delete these. I run in safe mode with selective start up in msconfig and still cant del. I want to run scan from the Norton 2003 disk . The definitions are up to date. What is the command line to run navdx from boot when the norton files are here. c:\program files\norton antivirus

The following examples demonstrate command-line syntax for a variety of
situations.
To scan all .EXE files in the WINDOWS directory and descending
subdirectories:
NAVC C:\WINDOWS\*.EXE /S+
To scan all .EXE files in the WINDOWS directory only:
NAVC C:\WINDOWS\*.EXE /S-To
scan a drive and a directory on another drive:
NAVC C: \NEWFILES
To scan a directory on the network drive P: called PROGRAMS, but
none of its subdirectories:
NAVC P:\PROGRAMS /S-To
scan only the boot records of drives C: and A:
NAVC C: A: /BOOT
