Runtime Error in IE

By mztilbel ·
I just downloaded and installed the latest service pack from Microsoft, now everytime I open Internet Explorer, I get a 'Runtime Error, do you wish to debug?' Why is it there, and how can I get rid of it?

try this:
in IE, pick Tools/internet options/advanced. check the box that says 'disable script debugging'. as usual, i know nothing, but i think your home page probably has script error due to incompatible with newest version of ie or something. see if you get error everywhere, or just some pages...

Hi,

Close all browsers. Right click the IE icon, properties, advanced. Uncheck Display a notification about every script error, click Apply and Ok.

Hope this helps...

Love to see you uninstall IE Mr. w2ktechman. It is so tightly integrated nowadays...

Not saying it can't be done, but good luck.
