SATA to 3.5" floppy

By pastorcraig ·
Hi all,
I need to connect a 3.5" floppy to my computer, but it only has SATA connectors.
What do I need to get it working. Do I need a new card in the computer or a cable convertor of some description?
Thanks
Craig

USB external floppy is the simple solution

You can buy SATA floppy drives...HP makes one for around $50

Answer is substantially the same

But since there is no space in laptop, only the USB option would work. With a desktop, you can go either way.

Thanks for your help. I ended up buying an IBM USB 3.5" floppy on Ebay for $5.50 So hope that works OK.
Cheers
