Scheduled print jobs

By che_chej ·
We have created a scheduled process to update our database then it will generate a valid and invalid records processed.
The process of updating the database works fine but it does not print anything.
We have checked the printing connections.
Do we have to set something else because when we issue the mode /status to find the config of the printer, it displays "printer is not rerouted"?
Thanks for any help...

What platform is this (ie...Unix,NT,Netware)? It is difficult to answer without a little more data. Are you printing the misses or hits or both? The process may require you to route the printer to this job? If it is saying it has not been rerouted, then you obviously must do so.

We're running under Windows NT4 SP4.
We've tried using the net use lpt and net start spooler. But the printer still cannot be seen.

Is this still a problem? Is the printer networked. If so, you may need to check the IP Address settings.

If not, you may need to reload the drivers for the printer. Test to see if the printer is working with any other application.
