Can you create a desktop shortcut which will launch the Windows XP search for files and folders assistant?

I should have mentioned that the user wants to add the “Search for Files and Folders” to their quick launch. I was looking to see if you could do anything with RUNDLL32?

Otherwise I will tell them to use “Show Desktop” and F3.

You sure can…just goto the Start Menu and left click and hold on the Search Icon and drag it to your desktop and that should do the trick!!!

If you use the “Classic Start Menu” you cannot drag the Search Icon to the desktop, but if you use the normal XP start menu you can drag the icon onto your desktop and use it as a shortcut!
