Assign to yourself only the right to 'access this computer from the network'. This is done from the User Rights option in the Policies menu from your local User Manager.

A lot of this depends on your NT authority level.
Make sure your hard drives are not shared.
Under Administrative tools make sure local access is not open to everyone.

If you have access to the the server you can limit the techs abaility to logon, ot take control. You can even limit what they can do on their on computers.
You will also want to make sue no stealth software has been installed, such as PCAnywehre or NetOp

As long as you have administrative rights to your machine, remove all users from your local administrators group, except yourself and the local administrator account. Then change the administrator account name and change the password to one only you know. If you are running NTFS, remove the Everyone group from the root of each HDD letter on your machine. If no NTFS, do as #1 recommends, allow only your account access to the computer via the network. You can access this from User Manager, under Policies/User Rights.

Remove you administrative shares on your local hard drives.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value of either 'AutoShareWks' for NT Workstation or 'AutoShareServer' for NT server. Then set the value to equal '0' todisable automatic sharing. If the values already exist then modify them to change the value.

Restart Windows and the automatic shares should not be created.

Registry Settings:
Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters]
Value Name: AutoShareServer, AutoShareWks
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Data: (0=disable, 1=enable)
